The Story: The good in "Not Good"
A story is told of a king whose hobby was hunting. He had a childhood friend called Ayo, whom always acompany him to the daily hunting expedition. Ayo has the habit of exclaiming "THIS IS GOOD" in life positive and negative occurance.
One day, the King and Ayo went hunting, the king gave Ayo his Gun to load the bullets, Ayo made an error when loading the bullets, When the king collected the gun and fire it at a deer, a horrible experience rocked the hunters, the King's thumb was blown off, after Ayo has examined the accident, he exclaimed as usual "THIS IS GOOD" . Out of anger and agony, the King replied "NO, THIS IS NOT GOOD". consequently, he sent Ayo to jail to serve an idefinite term.
A year later, the King went hunting Alone at the far bush, unfortunately, he was kidnapped by fiercy cannibals. He was taken deep into the forest and tied up to a tree. When one of the cannibal came out to set up the fire that will be used to cook the King, he observed that one of the king's thumb was missing, he cried out and yeild "he is not complete".
Being superstitious, the cannibals never ate anyone that was less than whole, out of fustrations, they set the King free.
On reaching the Palace, the King ordered Ayo to be released out of jail. When Ayo came to thank him, The King said "YOU WERE RIGHT, IT WAS GOOD THAT MY THUMB WAS BLOWN OFF" the King narrated everything that happened at the forest. He also asked Ayo to forgive him for jailing him for so long. Ayo replied "NO, THIS IS GOOD, HAD I NOT BE IN JAIL, I WOULD HAVE BEEN KIDNAPPED WITH YOU, ALSO THE CANNIBALS WOULD EAT ME"
